Terms of Use
Effective October 1, 2026
These Terms are an agreement between you and Stick ("Stick," "we," "us") for your use of the Stick app and stickclubhouse.com (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use Stick.
1. Who can use Stick
You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to these Terms where you live. You're responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in details secure. One person per account, and no accounts created to impersonate someone or to evade a ban.
2. Community Guidelines: zero tolerance for objectionable content
Stick has no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive players. You agree that you will not post, message or upload anything that:
- bullies, harasses, threatens or intimidates anyone;
- is hateful toward people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar characteristics;
- contains nudity, sexual content, or graphic violence;
- encourages self-harm or suicide;
- is spam, a scam, or unauthorized advertising;
- impersonates another person or misrepresents who you are;
- shares someone's private information, or photos or videos of people who haven't agreed to be posted;
- is illegal, or infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights.
Keep it about golf, keep it friendly, and keep it real: post rounds you actually played and scores you actually shot.
3. Reporting, blocking and enforcement
You can report any post, comment, message or player, and block any player, using the ⋯ menu in the app. We review reports within 24 hours. We may remove content and suspend or permanently remove accounts that break these Terms or our Community Guidelines, with or without notice. Posts and comments reported by several players may be hidden automatically while we review them.
4. Your content
You own the content you post: rankings, rounds, notes, photos, videos, comments and messages. By posting it, you give Stick a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display and distribute it within the Service, and to adapt it as needed to do so (for example, resizing photos), so that Stick can show it to the people you share it with. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for content others have already interacted with (such as a comment thread), or as needed for legal reasons.
You confirm that you have the rights to everything you post, including permission from anyone who appears in your photos or videos.
5. Course information
Course and tee information (including yardages, course ratings and slope) comes from public sources and from players, and may contain mistakes. It's provided for convenience and is not an official handicap or rating service. Please report anything that's wrong. If you add courses or tee sets, you let us share that information with all players.
6. Sponsored posts
Stick shows sponsored posts, which are clearly labeled "Sponsored." We aren't responsible for advertisers' products, services or offers.
7. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the Service: no hacking, scraping, automated accounts, overloading our systems, reverse-engineering the app, or using Stick to break the law.
8. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or end access to Stick if you break these Terms, or if we stop offering the Service.
9. Disclaimers
Stick is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. We don't guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that course information is accurate. Golf is played at your own risk; nothing in Stick is professional instruction or safety advice.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Stick will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to $100.
11. Apple
If you downloaded Stick from Apple's App Store: these Terms are between you and Stick, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, has no obligation to provide support for it, and is not responsible for any claims relating to it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, except where these Terms say otherwise.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. If the changes are important, we'll let you know in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Stick after that means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except where the law where you live requires otherwise.
